In light of announcements from the Cougars regarding season 2020 there appears to be some confusion over the Keighley Cougars Club Membership Scheme (£15) and the Keighley Cougars Official Supporters Club Membership (£5).
To begin with BOTH SCHEMES ARE WORTHWHILE AND WILL BENEFIT THE RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB.
To clarify the Supporters Club (KCOSC) organise fundraising events, coach travel to away matches and are the sponsors of Alfie Seeley (a club favourite). KCOSC is a non-profit making organisation, which donates all profits, where possible to the Keighley Cougars Rugby League Club.
The £15 Membership Scheme, on the other hand, is run by the Club, who are a business and are responsible to their shareholders. Their scheme benefits the loyal home supporters and gives the Club working capital.
In that respect both schemes are worthwhile benefiting both the Supporters AND the Keighley Cougars Rugby League Club.
